Lotus Root Kitchen + Market + Catering

I ordered a salmon poke bowl. Salmon is fresh and rice is at the correct temperature. Avocado adds an extra creamy texture to the sauce. Green onion was not chopped well but you can't ask too much at a mountain town market. Food is delicious.

An awesome array of quality and hard to find products fit beautifully into this petite space. It's worth taking the time to peruse the shelves for inspiration. Take some time to enjoy your delicious lunch, espresso, or ceremonial matcha in the indoor or outdoor seating, and you'll be glad you did! You can bring your own Tupperware if you need to take food to go!!! Beautiful, locally grown flowers, locally made bread and extremely friendly staff and customers!

Best coffee & best breakfast burritos in town. Also a great selection of local produce, meats & freshly made meals to go. I love the rotisserie chicken!

I’ve only been in a few times now but I just had to write a review because I already love this place so much! Firstly, the energy and vibe of the place is so cute, homey, and it always smells absolutely delicious with whatever they’re cooking in the back. And the food was so delicious. I had the kimchi bowl, (hadn’t gotten a picture before digging in) a mocha, and a browned butter chocolate chip cookie which was to die for! You could tell the kimchi was fresh and house made, so delicious and I had gotten there just in time for the cookies to be warm out of the oven. Also the staff were very sweet and welcoming.

When it comes to Lotus Root Kitchen, I never hesitate to recommend them to my couples for their catering needs. Not only do I think their food is amazing but I appreciate their attention to food quality and where items are sourced. Honga is clearly passionate about producing fresh, sustainable, and delicious meals. I’m always excited to create unique menus and execute amazing wedding receptions with her and her team.
