Sam's

We made it out to Snowmass for closing day last Sunday. Gotta say, our favorite trend is PAID bread service. Loving this show up frequently on menus lately, especially at Sam's atop Snowmass, where they bake it fresh at high altitude daily.

TOO good to be true. Awesome 4star lunch specials for no star price. Standard menu looked very reasonable too. First timer at Aspen 4 mountains. Casual fine dining and real chef cuisine. Very comfortable seating waiting area with cozy seats and fireplace. Coat and helmet storage area!! Unbelievable.

The food was SO good, the service was amazing, and we sat right by the window so we had a view of the mountain as high as the clouds. It was very cool, and we didn’t need a reservation - we arrive at 11:45ish. Highly recommend! I wish I could’ve stayed for more, but had to keep in mind that we had to ski back down.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant was beautiful, the service was nice, wine selection was great, and the food was delicious. The pasta was a bit overcooked for my taste. We didn’t make any adjustments to our food, but probably would’ve been wise to ask for the pasta to be cooked al dente.
