The food is definitely worth the price! I am still shocked they actually cooked my burger medium rare as most places overcook their burgers. The bison carpaccio was out of this world! If have some money to spend i recommend going here!
I was told by friends that our group HAD to eat at truffle pig. Unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The food was good with the exception of the squid ink risotto but the service was lacking. Our table did not have enough water glasses or silverware. The server couldn’t make a drink recommendation. Our meals didn’t come out together and many were cold by the time the bolognese reached the table. There were many things written in fine print on the menu that were not explained. Specifically our server was unwilling to split checks. We were in town for a work conference and are now unable to submit receipts. When I brought this up to him he said he couldn’t split it and he had been busy…. We were the last group seated in the restaurant. At this price point I expect excellent service and left disappointed.
This place is absolutely amazing. The food is phenomenal, one of the best meals I have ever had! They went out of their way to make dinner special for my wife and me on our honeymoon. Thank you to the whole Truffle Pig team!
This was such a wonderful experience for our last night in Steamboat. Everything from the impeccable service (thanks to our gracious waiter, Martin) the hostesses, servers, and manager who came over to thank us and ask how everything was (perfect!). Started with the bacon wrapped dates, Truffle Pig salad (with our favorites Tuscan kale & pine nuts). The risotto was absolutely delicious and intensely flavorful with butternut squash and mushrooms topped with their tender, delicious steak. My husband had the NY Strip - outstanding with fresh mashed potatoes and perfectly prepared asparagus. We had a bottle of Cab from Argentina (fun fact: our waiter's native country). Wish we had room for dessert. Their attention to detail made the entire evening one of those nights you never forget. We highly recommend Truffle Pig and look forward to returning.
We loved Truffle Pig! Our food was delicious and our server was warm and diligent! It is a small space and was fairly loud, so if quiet dining is your forte, then Truffle Pig might not be the best place for you! That being said, it was perfect for us! We loved the ambiance, Jerry Garcia tunes and the vibe of restaurant and workers. Truffle Pig is a place we will come back to when we visit Steamboat again. Yum!!
