Saguache 4th Street Diner & Bakery

Stopped in on our way south to the Great Sand Dunes. It was a short detour but well worth it! In particular three of us got the Reuben and let me tell ya, it was phenomenal! I've had many a Reuben in my day and this is easily one of the best! Worth noting too: it doesn't tear up your mouth like many Reubens do.

Nice neighborhood diner. Everything is cooked to order so be prepared to wait a few minutes for your food.
The waitress was a little slow but this is a small town so it's expected that things move a little slower.
We've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Friendly service and good prices.

Great small cafe! We ordered a Swiss mushroom burger and was great. The veggie omelette was superb coming with broccoli spinach onions carrots. Sold! Would return and to top it off, order a homemade cinnamon roll and you will be extremely satisfied. Cheers.

Love this place it has changed since the virus good food some baked goods. Great pies and great cinnamon rolls, love the bearclaws when they have them.
