The food was very good. The service was very good. And since we got into town several hours after the last train left, we had no wait for a table.
Handlebars was recommended by friends who have visited the area several times, and our visit did not disappoint.
Good was great. Prime rib was quite juicy. Prices are on the high end but worth the money. We were too hungry at the time and forgot to take photos of our orders
We came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and we’re disappointed. Interesting restaurant with lots to look at. My grilled chicken sandwich looked great and I was looking forward to the onion roll. First bite, the bottom bun was soaked and then the top bun. There were so many mushrooms on the sandwich that everything kept sliding everywhere. I have never seen so many mushrooms on a sandwich. Maybe 1/3-1/2 cup? More is not better. I finally slid the mushrooms to the side and used a knife and fork to eat the meat w/cheese. Unfortunately, the meat was tough with only a couple of tender bites.
My husband said his BLT was dry, the bacon lacked flavor, as did the whole sandwich, and there was hardly any mayo. Although the fries were good, the sandwiches cost too much to be just fair quality.
This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time! I went with my family and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, especially the homemade blue cheese dressing. The service is very friendly and the decor and atmosphere are really fun. I will definitely be back.
Great location right on the main street. They have a great patio that allows dogs and the menu is American comfort foods. They also have a great selection of craft beers and a full service bar. I had the half rack of ribs and a Mexican lager. The ribs were delicious and much larger than I expected for a half rack. Beer was great also. For dessert I tried the bread pudding, it was a little rich for my taste but still good. Service was fine and I would recommend stopping in.
