We ( me and my 2 teenagers) had dinner there tonight. This is a wonderful place. The service was excellent and quick the food was top notch. I would highly recommend this place
First time in Silverton. All of us really enjoyed our lunch, but the best part of the experience was sitting outside listening to their singer/guitarist sing folk/country music. He was good! I could have stayed there and listened all day long.
I had dinner here twice and the restaurant is quaint with various artifacts of older times decorating the walls. The menu for lunch and dinner is different and pretty broad spanning Mexican, Italian, burgers, sandwiches, steaks and salads. I highly recommend the Mexican options because one of the owners is Mexican so the Mexican options are authentic! The salsa was delicious, the chips were hand made in house, and the red sauce is aromatic and with a kick most love. I recommend trying the Enchiladas Montadas because it was a menu item that i had never seen anywhere else (I'm usually around the east coast though). The loaded nachos also are great if you'll love the homemade tortilla chips! Vegans can get the salad bar buffet, or their newer salad, the mountain medley (ask for without cheese). There are other basic options like fries, sweet potato fries and maybe pasta (i didn't verify ingredients). They're the largest restaurant in town these days, but they can still get very busy with the train tourists, but if you're hungry, you'll get a good sized meal and be satisfied.
