The Blue Fish Breckenridge

This place is awesome! Great service & great staff (ask for Charles). Overall truly incredible. Even though it’s a chain, you can’t get this experience anywhere else.

Still working out the kinks I think. Food was good but the staff was clearly frazzled and the table layout is disastrous. Waitress took an inordinate about of time to tend our table. When we asked about the delay, the host gave the excuse of “its a lot of stairs up to this level”. So the three level restaurant is not working well for servers. When she arrived we ordered drinks and food all at once rather than risk another long wait. When she delivered the drinks, she warned us that the sushi bar was really backed up so we should expect a delay in food delivery. That’s a sign that the seats in the restaurant over stretch the capabilities of the food prep. And speaking of tables, we were four adults seated at a high top table meant for two people. I spent the entire evening leaning against the wall trying to make more room. And when the food did arrive, we had to play the slot game with the plates to get it all to work. I held my drink all evening. That all being said, it was inexplicably packed. Good food in a very uncomfortable setting. Will not be returning.

The sushi was amazing. The place is really cool and food was really good. Had the shishito peppers, spicy edamame for appetizer and was really tasty. The rolls were very well preparation and no need of additional soy sauce and the pieces of fish especially salmon belly was amazing! I recommend it. Be prepared to wait a bit but it’s worth it!!

Great sushi! Only complaint is the lack of space to wait for a table. (And there is always a wait, even with a reservation.)

We are so happy to find this place! The food, atmosphere and service were absolutely fabulous! Ww had The Rock Manhatten roll and the Miami Vice roll yum!
