We came here for my husband‘s birthday, who is a barbecue connoisseur. It was a friendly fun atmosphere. We thought the ribs and the beef brisket were phenomenal. We’d give them a 4.6. The catfish was really fishy, and we didn’t care for it much. We loved the green beans, but the mac & cheese fell flat.
Unable to book a table, but plenty of room. Must get there really early otherwise the whole briskets have gone to all the people who are catering for large crowds at home and have pre ordered them. We got there at 6.30pm and they only had pork ribs and chopped brisket sandwiches left! The sides were great - garlic beans, red skinned potato mash & cream (dream) corn all very tasty. The sweet potato was a little too sweet for us, but the cinnamon was just the right amount and complimented it perfectly. It was a pleasant evening and I would definitely recommend checking it out and am looking forward to going again myself. My only comment would be that the serving staff were very stressed the night we were there - I think they may have been short staffed - some of the orders were getting mixed up, trays were piling up and they were running out of meat already! Perhaps doing a separate batch of meat for all those home orders, which seem to be increasing in demand would be better than taking the restaurant allocation and leaving your diners and staff frustrated and disappointed would be the way to go? You need to share all that amazing Texan BBQ goodness with us all ????! We still loved the ribs and Briskets sandwiches we had anyway ????
Excellent service. Best full meal in town. Greens, meat, sides are all excellent. Brisket is money, green beans are also ????

Jay from Michigan was our bartender. He served excellent drinks, was very entertaining and elevated our dining experience. I highly recommend the brisket and ribs. Every side dish was better than the last.
