“My family and I, who live in Summit County, ate at Tavern West over the weekend and had the best meal we've had in the county in probably 2 years. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. The owner of the restaurant was even circling and made sure we were satisfied. In any case, this restaurant has a changing, seasonal menu that makes us keep coming back. The cocktails are fun and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is beautiful and very cozy. Overall, we'd recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Summit County and will surely be back!”

“Let me start off by saying that I really like this place. For those trying to eat healthy and/or plant-based it’s so good. Really excellent food and good service. Today we came for our second visit about 4.30 pm during the advertised ‘happy hour’. There were no seats at the bar so the server showed us to a table. We proceeded to order a few happy hour drinks, appetizers and an entree. When the bill came it reflected the normal pricing. When I questioned the server she said that we needed to ‘mention’ that it was happy hour in order to get that pricing. She proceeded to adjust our bill by about $20! This didn’t sit right with me. Anyhow, if you go for happy hour make sure you mention that you expect it to be reflected in your bill!!”
