The Creek

My son and I met at the Creek yesterday (19 April) for lunch and I have to say, not only were the prices reasonable, but the food was outstanding! We each ordered the mushroom.& Swiss elk burger, and we both agreed that these were the best burgers of any kind either of us has had in a decade. The wait staff was great, so they got a fine tip. And the original 1880s decor is relaxing and charming. The Creek will certainly become a regular stop for us.

Our server, Alex was great. We brought in a rambunctious group of kids, that spilled milk everywhere and the staff all took it in stride. The food and drink were great as always! We bring our friends here every time we are in town.

Great food, true spicy hatch green chili (not the canned knock off you usually get), huge delicious, pulled pork sandwich. Friendly and fast service. Reminded me of "Cheers." We just happened upon this place but will definitely be going back! A true gem!

Nice, varied menu offering more than the usual fare. Friendly staff with attention to detail in ensuring food is prepared as ordered. Generous portions for the higher-than-average price you'll pay. We've been there several times and have not been disappointed. Nice ambience that takes you back to the early days of Cripple Creek. Family friendly. We ordered the elk chili that came in a bread bowl, burrito that literally filled the plate, and mushroom cheeseburger with home cut fries. All we're delicious. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. On both visits the salads were fresh and crisp, and the meals were fantastic. The service - amazing! The gals who who attended to us were professional and fun with amazing attitudes.
