Pepper Pod Restaurant

We drive past this restaurant every year for over a decade to visit family. We knew it must be good because the lot was always full and most of the vehicles were ranch rigs.

This is not a fancy place. It isn't about eating trend healthy. It's all about home hearty!

We were looking for a local place for Rocky Mountain Oysters since we haven’t had any luck finding good Rocky Mountain Oysters anywhere! Boy did we find our new favorite restaurant! The Pepper Pod is the best dining experience, not just great food but also a wonderful story of a family that started a business years ago and it has thrived. Thrived in basic principles, serve good food, give excellent customer service and have great staff! We had Oysters, Prime Rib, Liver and Onions, Burgers, wings, onion Rings, seems like a little bit of everything and it was all delicious! A Thumbs UP! Thank You Pepper Pod!

We were traveling for the holidays and I was reading good reviews about this place so we stopped. The salad bar was very good, soup was wonderful, the food was ok/good, my husband had the fish and chips and the french fries were fried 2 times. NOT good! The tarter sauce was also missing something. I had the prime rib and that was wonderful.

You should not pass Hudson without stopping at Pepper apps restaurant. It is a local landmark with a friendly staff! We were seated right away, even though it was extremely busy. And the food was fantastic. We had breakfast. It is the place to go for a great “home cooked breakfast”. Everything there is made fresh.

We had a delightful evening. Service was excellent. It always is. I had a bowl of green chili stew and the salad bar. To my utter surprise - the Cole slaw was unbelievable! Delicious! The green chili pork stew was the best!
