The Hummus & Pita Co.

While not quite the level of Omar's in midtown (53rd and Lex), this is by FAR the next best thing and EASILY the best Mediterranean in the area. The chicken shwarma is juicy, very tasty and doesn't have too many charred or gristle-y bits. The home-made hummus comes in many flavors, but the original hummus is the best and probably close to the best I've had anywhere. The Israeli salad is also beautifully fresh. Very highly recommended

I have never been a very big fan of Hummus, however, here they made the experience most enjoyable and tasty. The employees were very friendly and helpful. An overall great experience.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It is now my favorite place to go for lunch. All the food is homemade, healthy, delicious, and they are very generous with their portions. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you go you should try the hummus Shake. I honestly didn't think it sounded very appetising but he gave me a sample and it's really good, and healthy.

The Middle Eastern food is delicious and affordable! The owner is personable and welcoming. There is good variety of hot and cold items on buffet. The temp of the seating area is cool, so bring a coat. You will not be disappointed.

The food is of amazing quality I would give 4 or even 5 stars. Freshness of ingredients, quality of products used comes through in flavor, preparation and presentation. But I have gone here 3x and Everytime something from my order is missing. Whether that be pita, hummus or a shake. Something is always missing and I find myself having to drive back and pick it up very annoying and frustrating. Seriously considering not coming back here due to the poor quality control on customer service.
