Indian Food & Spice, Curry Pot

A very nice store, I have shopped here for many year for spices. Recently my favorite Indian restaurant closed (Amba Vilas Palace), fortunately the same head chef is doing take out here! Chef should be proud of himself, this is some of the best Indian food I have ever had!

I love this little store! Whenever I want Indian food I stop by in their frozen section, so much cheaper and easier than going to a resturant ?

After finding out my favorite Indian restaurant in Danbury closed down (Amba Palace) I did not know what I would do with myself.

My hubby stumbled into this Indian Market and we instantly fell in love. My experience is solely based on our take out experience and a brief shopping experience.

The food is PHENOMENALLY MOUTHWATERING AMAZING. It happens to be the chefs from Amba Palace are now the cooks here! What a small world!

I figured the food quality wouldn’t be the same when you order take out versus ordering at a restaurant to sit down. Well, they proved me wrong. Generous portions at amazing prices. Everything is always so fresh and delicious and I just can’t get over our two favorite dishes : malai kofta and dal makhani. Just wow. As if that wasn’t enough, their flavorful, crisp yummy vegetable samosas are to die for.

I’m so happy we now have a place we can just order food from and enjoy it from home. This place has my heart and the meals are just cooked with love and homemade. What is there seriously not to love about them!

Great store for indian spices, which is what we went for. Absolutely delightful experience with the cashier, too, who played with my son very well as we checked out. Would definitely recommend for the welcoming atmosphere and selection.
