Had a great time talking with John and enjoying his great cooking. The water did taste a little bit like gasoline, though. Next time, I think I’ll get take out instead, although I do enjoy the view and casual atmosphere a lot.
An absolute sleeper hit in the Danbury scene. John the Chef is phenomenal both as a comfort food hangout and as a person. I take the kids there every weekend and they love seeing John in his parking lot. He smells a bit off but he has a heart of gold. Would 100% recommend
