Arrived at 7 on a Tuesday night. Bar was crowded dining pretty empty. Garlic knots served in a wire basket lined with a cloth napkin, delicious. Then chicken soup, gorgonzola salad, exquisite. Fried calamari, perfection, light and crispy. Scallops over angel hair pasta wonderful. Prices were more than fair. Portions were just right, I brought home leftovers .
Great location, the staff was great. The food was excellent!
Pizza is really good. Nice friendly people too. This is a family owned placed dishing out some quality food. You can sense the "love for family," as soon as you walk into this place. Very cool in this era. Not a lot of places like this left.
The office ordered 3 pies: cheese, pepperoni, and veggie. The pizzas looked and smelled great! The taste, however, did not add up. If I were to compare, I'd rather have Brick Oven on Capital ave or Arthur's Famous down Park Ave. If I was going out on a limb, I'd compare it to Crossroads or Sergios, which are also better, in my opinion. I had a slice of pepperoni and veggie. I didn't finish my veggie slice and I took out some huge slices/chunks of garlic.
One of my favorite places. Casual with good prices for outstanding food. A favorite? Hot oil and bacon pizza! Otherwise, Italian specialties a plenty!
