Nordic Fish – Seafood and Fresh Fish Market in Fairfield, CT

Awesome people. I came in at around 6:30 (30 minutes before they close) to pick up some salmon for cold smoked gravlax I make. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and was not only knowledgeable about the stuff in the case but also had a love for fish and food.
As for the salmon it looks amazing. I don’t have any pictures of the finished product yet (I left the store 40 minutes ago) but I can assure you this dang fish is fresh and is going to make some bangin food.
Definitely go see these guys for your seafood and suggestions on how to cook it all up.

Wow what a place! We came here to purchase seafood for our annual seven fishes Italian dinner that we do every Christmas Eve. Seeing as we came in from out of town this year we were worried we would have difficulty getting the ingredients we needed or having to go to multiple stores to get everything. Norton Fish has everything we needed! Clams, mussels, squid, octopus, fish and more!! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They happily helped us with our big order without any issues. We will be coming back here next time for sure! Way to go guys!

My son and I randomly stopped in for sushi, but instead ordered a lobster roll with corn on the cob and blackened salmon steaks. Everything was absolutely delicious!! No seasoning necessary for the salmon steaks. Just warm up with your sides and enjoy. THE BEST!! Not overly seasoned or under. Melted in my mouth.I had a baked potatoe and spinach salad with it. Definitely will return. Met the owner and cook who were both pleasant and warm. Great service!????

These guys are the real deal! I'm from Sicily and my father was in the fish trade, he would always bring home the freshest fish and shrimp, I missed that so much! The only place that I was able to find that freshness again, was at this place. Bravo! I talked to Frank, one of the owners and he helped me with a couple of perfect files of Salmon.

Best Salmon, Sword Fish, 1/4 pound shrimp I ever had! It was a seafood feast this past weekend at my place and I plan in repeating it at least once a month with fish supplied by Nordic Fish. These guys know their fish! Highly Recommend!
