What an adorable place. Food was delicious and the mom and son duo that own the place have such a cute story behind the place. Can't wait to come back!!
You can tell that the chef cares about the quality of ingredients (gets his bread from Balthazar's in NYC) The ingredients are fresh and the breakfast sandwiches were made to order. The atmosphere is nice and has a homey feeling to it. The lunch sandwiches are also freshly made with the same fresh ingredients on great bread. Salads are freshly made and taste great!
The Dilly Duck Shop has pretty legit sandwiches, I must say. I really love their focus on unique and healthy food. I came in here with a group of four around noon and it wasn't too packed yet. We had no trouble finding a seat but the crowd definitely started coming in soon after. I had The Cardio which is a vegetarian sandwich with grilled zucchini, eggplant, and pumpkin seed basil pesto. It also typically comes with goat cheese but I subbed that with fresh mozzarella; I really recommend that!
Service was super friendly and quick and the food is great quality. Prices are really reasonable given the high-caliber ingredients. Great for both dine-in and takeout.
A pretty good deli but not great. A nice variety of sandwiches to choose from (no duck, unfortunately) but nothing particularly special. The loaded fries are tasty but in the end they're just fries with bacon and some condiments. A good option if you're nearby, but don't go out of your way for it.
Just had my 2nd the rotisserie beef egg sandwich. Perfect! The beef is thinly shaved, juicy, and flavorful. The bun is lightly toasted with a crispy outside and soft inside. The egg is cooked with such care that the yolk perfectly spills out around the cooked white. Nothing gets in the way of the beef. That's how a sandwich is supposed to be. Well done.
