Bistro 83 Latin Fusion

Ate at Bistro 83 tonight before a concert a few doors down.
First,let me say, our server was super sweet and the food was delicious! Had pupusas, husband had a beef dish and I ended up with rice, beans and tostones. All good. And the pineappletini was yummy as well. The restaurant was understaffed but things like that happen...we had to wait a little but we didn't mind.

My only complaint- i am vegetarian and had read in another review that the restaurant had "great vegan options" so I was happy about that. I even confirmed with a staff member prior to making reservations (they told me to just ask for the vegan menu when I arrived). I asked and the server said nothing like that existed. (She even double checked). She said they had salads.
Vegans and vegetarians want more than salads. So my one suggestion is to have a few plant based options for the weirdos.

But all in all, we had a delicious meal, nice flavors, perfectly seasoned, reasonably priced, good portions. Would go back when we are in the area. For you meat eaters, the menu is extensive with lots of choices.

Food was delicious and very fresh. Service was very friendly. Will be back.

Great food menu and fantastic drinks. The food and service is excellent. I highly reccomend this bistro. The drinks are top notch also.....

We visited Bistro 83 for dinner last night and were really impressed with the variety of the menu! They had some good Happy Hour selections as well. The lomo saltado, casado, and nachos were all delicious, and we thought the portion sizes were great. I definitely want to come back and try more dishes, and I saw some fun drinks go by that I want to try next time!

I love love love their food! It is fresh and authentic!
Lots of vegan options!
