Cafe Dolce

I'd give them 6 stars if I could! Been stopping there a few times a year on the journey between Philadelphia and Boston. It's about halfway. Once they were out of the dinner special but when they saw my disappointment, they made me FRESH PASTA! Their cold brew set up is mesmerizing. The desserts are flaky and light and understated and amazing. The soups are complex and satisfying. I can't believe that after all these years they haven't moved out of the strip mall!

I love this place! The baked goods are fabulous! The chocolate croissant is one of the best I've found in the United States outside of France and Belgium. Coffee is great. The salads and crepes are also awesome. Can't go wrong!

Everything here is made with care. The espresso drinks are powerful; the pastries are excellent and varied; the entrees are delicious. The quality is consistent. Take a minute to look through the menu and the two pastry cases, as the selections change frequently, and ask what soups they have that day.

The communal table in the center and the high-top ledge at the window mean that there is almost always somewhere to sit, no matter how popular the café is that day or how quickly the small tables fill up.

Most of all, I appreciate the calm atmosphere of this family business. The staff are kind to everyone, including each other. They bring your order to your seat (which prevents me from spilling coffee on myself, a great bonus).

It is a nice place to share breakfast/lunch with a friend, or to get some work done with a warm beverage close at hand. I also buy espresso beans there: they will grind the whole beans if you ask.

This little cafe was delicious. Grabbed a prosciutto and salami panini with a pineapple lemonade. Both were awesome! All of the coffee looked great (can’t drink coffee anymore unfortunately). Pastries looked delectable and the service was awesome. Friendly staff, very attentive, happy to help you. So many choices for snacks or meals. Definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve seen one negative review and none of them hat was stated in that review was applicable. Never been here before today, but will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

GREAT. Pastries! They even made a pastry that they don't carry anymore, which was great because every year I ask for those 'kifli' s instead of birthday cake!!!
