“to update this comment to a year later now Feb. 2019 - outstanding beef stew, really excellent. Really outstanding. very very nice chicken stew as well. I would consider trying a new brand of rice however - I do not think the rice is undercooked, I think it may be a slightly too robust type of rice, would be worth experimenting on a new kind. Also - maybe a little more garlic in the rice would be nice. excellent buffet / cafe restaurant. beef brisket outstanding, very nice chicken dishes, nice garlic rice,good sausage, nice flan - overall excellent !”

“Szechuan Dumplings: The dumplings themselves were good but the sauce tasted very bitter to me. Crispy Dan Dan Noodles: Interesting take on traditional Dan Dan noodles where the pork is meant to be "crispy". However, it fell flat in that it wasn't crispy and more so dry/hard. Soup Dumplings: Good flavors but they fell apart way too easily. It was really hard to pick them up without them breaking which kind of defeats the purpose of soup dumplings.”

“This is a little unassuming place on the least attractive stretch of that street but the food is superb! The lamb (barbacoa) is fantastic and their salad bowl is deliciously sprinkled with little morsels of pineapple.The owners are lovely people, taking pride in their food and working hard to please their customers.
