After sitting down at hundreds of restaurants, Bernard's continues to prove itself as one of the finest and richest dining experiences one's pallet may ever have the pleasure of experiencing. I dine at Bernard's several times a year, and on each occasion it is an absolute indulgence on the senses. To begin, their atmosphere is quite elegant, with live piano music often playing softly in the background and a crackling fire in the colder months, I often find it hard to part at the conclusion of my meal. Next, their staff is extremely well mannered and attentive, proud to offer up Bernard's fine cuisine. Each menu item always seems to reveal a real labor of love not easily found elsewhere. One of my favorite menu selections, Bernard's lobster bisque, is wonderfully crafted and crowned with a slice of lobster flan - an absolute delicacy! During the summer and fall you'll also find that their salads and other menu items are prepared with vegetables grown in the restaurant's own garden. This desire to provide the freshest and most tasteful of ingredients demonstrates their commitment to quality. My most recent meal, a Rembrandt of fine cuisine, was decorated with house grown goji berries and seasoned to perfection, it was an absolute masterpiece! For the wine enthusiast, also expect to be overly impressed. Bernard's wine list is massively concise with well over a thousand choices, each page containing an array of rare gems and quintessential selections. Well planned and painstakingly maintained, Bernard's wine collection easily reveals a true desire to offer the very best. Bernard's gracious atmosphere and fine cuisine tends to make it difficult for one to part from his or her lovely dining experience, but understanding quality and atmosphere, Chef Bernard, unarguably a top Chef, will certainly have you coming back again for more.

Always superb! Exceeds our gastronomic expectations every time!!! Each dish wows! It’s always a special occasion when dining at either Bernard’s or the more casual Sara’s wine bar upstairs. We always feel so lucky to have this incredible restaurant within walking distance of our home!
