“This new restaurant has nailed it. My oysters were excellent, the fish soup excellent, and chicken kabobs were excellent!!! The kids had Pizza, so of course they gave it a thumbs up. The service was very good. My glass of water never fell below the half mark without anyone noticing. The prices are reasonable. The overall quality of the food, perfect for the price.”

“Southwest Cafe catered a baby shower for me this weekend for 40 people. The employees, the food, and the service are extraordinary! They packaged and labeled everything to make it a breeze to set up and serve. Everyone LOVED the food and I was a proud hostess. The quantities were perfectly measured with an easy clean up too. I highly recommend Southwest Cafe for your catering needs and for some of the best food in town. Thank you, especially to Barbara for loaning me the crock pots and to Trisha for her unparalleled attention to detail and extra care. Annie was very helpful too. “This place is a great mixed bag. Solid menu, good service, good spirit -- all fine -- the one thing I found a bit different here is the actual chef-stations for the Hibachi cooks. There is no physical room for two chefs to cook simultaneously in the same physical space. It's as though they expect the chefs to ride "piggy-back" to serve multiple stations at the same time. Same goes for seating at the Hibachi Tables -- I'm over 6ft tall, and the legroom is less than an economy airline seat. Zero legroom. Super uncomfortable. The quality of the food is totally fine, the service is good, the ambiance is no muss no fuss. I'd definitely go again, I'm just bumming for the chefs who are completely compromised in their personal space when trying to create an enjoyable experience. You can tell they're uncomfortable, and so too is my legroom under the tables. The whole thing tastes great, but the Hibachi experience needs a renovation to allow more personal space to chefs and patrons.”

“Last night my boyfriend and I came to terrasole for our first dining experience together there . Just something to keep in mind during the holiday season, they are excepting reservations. This was an unplanned choice to come to dinner and we had a fabulous experience . We did have to wait about 20-30 minutes due to not having a reservation but it was worth every minute we waited. I don’t usually go to new restaurants unless they are Michelin starred because I have a dairy allergy and it usually is very frustrating to order and it’s hard to accommodate me. It was the complete opposite last night with Tony, our server. Not once did Tony have to go back into the kitchen like every other new place on what they can and cannot do to accommodate my allergy. It was effortless, easy, and Tony made excellent recommendations. We had the meats to start , the shrimp, calamari , squid screwers and both were excellent . My boyfriend got the lasagna special with black truffle and he said it was exceptional... I had the veal stuffed with mushrooms and changed out the pasta for veggies . We are looking forward to coming back. Well done, guys !”
