Went there for lunch today with friends and it was amazing! Food and service were top notch. It is so nice inside too! We had the nachos to start, and they were delicious! We had the Kobe burger, Crispy Chicken bowl, rigatoni and Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and they were all yummy!!! We decided to get some dessert too and they were out of this world!
A definite go to place and JUST as good if not better than their Woodbury location.
Amazing food and service! The bar was beautiful and I was impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole! Marketplace never misses so I wasn’t surprised! 11/10!
How blessed is this area to be able to enjoy a restaurant of this caliber?! Thank you for giving the option in Shelton to not have to dine at chili’s or ruby tuesdays. The prices are very in line with the quality - I am willing to pay for an experience thats worth it. Food, Drinks, Staff, all exceptional ESPECIALLY for their first week. We especially enjoyed the bartender Nick! Will be back over & over again!
Greeted very promptly by bartender with a smile. Once waited on, I was forgotten. Only ordered chicken wings and they were very good. This was a Sat. Afternoon and only 4 people at this large bar. A young gentleman named Nick was also behind the bar. Tried to have a conversation with him, but it was very difficult. Then I watched him pouring one liter of liquor into another bottle. I asked him if he knew that was illegal and he said he did, but with excuses. Then he said , oh, that only depends on certain brands. I Then asked if his management knew that and he said no. Never looking me in the face. Shame on him
Went for my first visit on Saturday. Aesthetically, the place is gorgeous. Nice, open lay out, the fire place in the center is a nice touch, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The beer selection was good. They were sadly out of blue moon and bud light, but had plenty of local beers available. Service was quick, and the waitress was always checking on us.
The food tasted good, and the complementary bread was a nice touch.
Now, here's why I unfortunately had to give it a 3/5: the prices are killer. I was in a party of two: both of us had the market place burger (the most basic thing on the menu), I subbed out the fries for a salad ($2 more, which is fine). We had 3 beers between us, and we ordered a nacho plate. I will say the nachos was impressive what they gave as toppings, but I almost mocked the lack of chips to topping ratio. Had to eat most of the plate with a fork. Anyway, so for the above, with tax and a standard 20% tip the table bill was over $90. Sadly, for that much I could go to most restaurants on the same road and keep $40-55 dollars. Sure, I'll give them that the food we did get was certainly good, but not at the prices. I feel this place will see business slump unfortunately, as you can't consistently eat here.
