    Never been so thought Id check it out. Food ok, but not great. Area at night not safest either with too many people hanging out around store fronts that my kids felt a little intimidated. Effort was there by the counter person so I cannot give a 3 star, but far from a 5 star. 3.5 would be accurate

    Good site for Chicken. It's so appetizing. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. The prices are good for what you get.

    Popeyes is addicting , like heroin.

    My wife and I try to stay away from this sort of food but since we live close , we can smell the crispy chicken grease lingering in the air and warm biscuit dough rising with the sun. We’ve been there twice and have had great experiences so I am not sure why the reviews here are bad. Lack of proper grammar from the reviews tells me maybe the people writing the reviews are the problem.

    I went to Popeye to try the chicken since I've actually never tried Popeye's chicken before and figured I'd go check out the new one in town. So, I've given the place 3 stars because I believe they deserve the benefit of the doubt, but here are a few things they need to work on. 1st think I notice is that everyone working there seemed a bit frantic for lack of better words. There weren't many people actually ordering. The gentleman at the counter seemed to be trying to wrangle in the employees as they all where running around all and chattering away. There was one customer who had been waiting for some time for her order.

    I ordered the 4 piece combo and got my order fairly quickly and the order was what I ordered so there was no problem with that. The soda machine only had diet coke and root beer which after I poured it since it was all they had I realized was also diet.

    Another thing I noticed is that it seems like they didn't promote their opening as I've driven by a few times and didn't realize they had already opened.

    All in all there is room for improvement but the quality of food was fine and I do wish them the best of luck and success.
