“My husband and I went there for lunch and it was delicious! We also met the owner, they have a great setup with outdoor seating as well. You can eat at a traditional table, picnic table, or lounge in an Adirondack around a low table! My husband got the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries, absolutely perfectly cooked! I got the street corn which was so fresh! I also got the Brussels sprouts which i wasn't crazy about. They were cooked very well but the sauce was not anything special, but maybe that's just my opinion. Overall, absolutely loved it and will definitely go back. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially in North stamford where food options are very slim! Also, you can call your order in! It may take a few calls, but if you are driving anyways, its worth a shot! The owner said he's open year round with the exception of a few weeks in February when its very snowy.”

“Great local barbecue from the former pit boss and owner of the Stamford Dinosaur BBQ. It’s just him and his smoker (and his family, of course). The rotating menu is available on their Instagram or on the website (or you can sign up to be on their email list). You place the order by Thursday noon, and you drive up and pick up some of the best ‘cue around on Saturday. Of course, the ribs and pulled pork are excellent, but I really love their porchetta and pork belly burnt ends, and the deviled eggs were phenomenal.”

“This place is awesome! I come every weekend since end of May. The food is perfect for day drinking, the live music jams, the dogs are adorable, and the setting is cool. We love to watch the sun set over the harbor with drinks in hand. We hadn’t seen our favorite bartender, Carole, in a few weekends but we saw her last night! She always made sure we got in when it was primarily reservations and remembers our names as well as our drinks. She is quick, kind, and I can tell she goes out of her way to provide superior service without acting like we’re an inconvenience. One of my first weekends, we came as a group and I brought sober friends. We didn’t expect anything but once she realized half of us only ordered water because they don’t drink, she reviewed her bar and came up with a list of mocktails then offered us any of her soft beverages, completely normalizing it. My favorite food is the tacos even though they keep changing. My husband’s favorite is the dumpling stand, which isn’t always there but the chef is very nice and knowledgeable. This place is fun rain or shine. There are giant games too, making it extra family friendly. Stamford community warmly welcomes local small businesses with friendly humans!”

One of the managers, Joel, noticed this and gave us extra attention to make up for it. He really made the experience great and we will definitely be coming back because of him. “This was my first time at any Jersey Mike's and I have a few things to say here. The Staff was really friendly and every single employee there was working as quickly as they can. However, it still took me 30 mins to grab 2 sandwiches. I think it's a situation when something is new and they are still trying to work the kinks out. Usually I would give a much lower rating because of the time I waited but the food was good and the staff were all working really hard. Maybe somethings may eventually change to help expedite things but overall, I was happy. My Philly steak was really good and seasoned well. My wife enjoyed her ham and provolone. I'll be back soon”

“Alright I've got to admit this place is an awesome place to walk to after your done at the seaside tavern. I have informally created a new menu item called the "Billy P" special at this location. Cheese sticks covered in chilli and cheese. From what I've heard many of my friends have gone in and ordered the replica and have named it the "Billy P special". “I love this place! The owner Susan is so sweet and accommodating, the food and coffee are amazing, the space is beautiful, and the play room is a blast! We chose to rent it out for my son's 2nd birthday and he had a great time! We ordered some of their flat bread pizzas which were so good, so it was perfect that we could have dinner there too. We brought our own cupcakes and they were so nice, offering to show us how to dim the lights and letting us light his candles, etc. Everything is immaculate and I saw staff cleaning and sanitizing tables and chairs multiple times while we were there. I can't recommend this place enough- we will definitely make it a regular play spot!”

“This restaurant just opened. We tried La Vista last night, it is in the old Jimmys Seaside space and we were very impressed. We had bacon wrapped shrimp, a delicious spicy pork special, and homemade pasta bolognese ?! They even had fries and buttered pasta for our 4 year old. The couple sitting next to us got the Branzino prepared table side and it looked amazing. Great wine list too! The service was exceptional and staff was very friendly and skilled. It feels great to support a local small business that opened during Covid, check it out!”

Great spot - only comment is some Starbucks are less "coffee" and more "cyber-cafe" - neither good nor bad - this particular Starbucks seems 40% coffee and 60% silicone..... stop in grab a coffee and go - or grab a coffee and sit at your laptop....there isnt much for a comfy chair to enjoy the brew.”

“Got tacos here when spending the day at Cummings Beach. The truck is parked in the back parking lot and per speaking with the employee they said they are there everyday 10am-10pm, weather permitting. We have tried a quasidilla (which was huge), all of the different meat tacos (they are really loaded wirh meat), and the corn on the Cobb, and all of it was delicious and fresh!”
