Great selection of off-the-beaten-path appetizers. Inventive but not weird. Crispy potatoes are excellent. Superb mushroom Swiss burger. Nice atmosphere -- casual but not overly so. Highly recommended.
The food was good, they have local craft beer options, and the restaurant & bathrooms are clean. My bartender Kayla was friendly, attentive, and made this solo business traveler feel welcome with conversation.
A new favorite place for us! Fantastic food, drinks and service!! Can't wait to return!
Oar and Oak small plates were all delicious. We tried the flank steak. Brussel sprouts, asparagus, bibbs lettuce salad and the duck tapas. Each dish was very flavor packed, and had a unique sauce or dressing that made the dish. I would have liked a slightly more generous portion of flank steak for the price, and the duck was a tad rare for my preference, but that is my only knock on the meal itself. I would also say, that it was really loud, so much so that a normal level conversation was difficult. Its definitely worth a try.
This spot is a hidden gem. If you are a foodie or a human of any kind you should check this place out. The menu has a ton of thoughtfully crafted good eats for a very affordable price. You can order from a number of small plates for everyone to enjoy or if you never learned to share as a child like myself the entrees are great too. Definitely try the lobster mashed potatoes (get a few if your with a group). If I lived closer I can see this place being a regular dinner spot.
