I'm in town for work and have eaten here twice in the last week because it's SO GOOD!! Perfectly buttery lobster rolls were on special one night and on the other night I had one of the best burgers of my life (and I explore great burgers everywhere)! It was just a basic black and blue burger, I had to ask for lettuce and tomato since veggies on burgers is unusual here, but the meat was so juicy and flavorful - I couldn't put it down and I was sad when it was gone. Just writing this I feel like I need to go get another one. The atmosphere is great too with its old brick tavern feel.
Tap beer rotates frequently. Good deal on Mondays- $3.00 drafts. Haven't eaten there lately but, as I recall, it was pretty good. On this trip the burgers smelled great.
A rare 5 stars here. It's my neighborhood go to, top notch, friendly service, interesting menu (the duck wings are really wings of ducks), solid standby burgers and salads, great acoustic performers Thursday nights.
Service was pretty good, steak tips were amazing. Fish and chips were good but fish portion should be bigger. I would go back
