“I can't say enough about this cute little cafe. I stopped in for lunch earlier this week and have been back three times. The menu is small but all the ingredients are fresh and high quality (smoked salmon salad with goat cheese & strawberries, turkey & havarti sandwich, warm ham & brie sandwich). Pastries were divine, I ended up bringing some into the office for sampling! Sadly, I can't drink coffee any more, but there was high quality coffee here which I would have loved. The decor is beautiful, comfortable and cozy. This will be one of my regular stops!”

“Great local barbecue from the former pit boss and owner of the Stamford Dinosaur BBQ. It’s just him and his smoker (and his family, of course). The rotating menu is available on their Instagram or on the website (or you can sign up to be on their email list). You place the order by Thursday noon, and you drive up and pick up some of the best ‘cue around on Saturday. Of course, the ribs and pulled pork are excellent, but I really love their porchetta and pork belly burnt ends, and the deviled eggs were phenomenal.”

“This place is awesome! I come every weekend since end of May. The food is perfect for day drinking, the live music jams, the dogs are adorable, and the setting is cool. We love to watch the sun set over the harbor with drinks in hand. We hadn’t seen our favorite bartender, Carole, in a few weekends but we saw her last night! She always made sure we got in when it was primarily reservations and remembers our names as well as our drinks. She is quick, kind, and I can tell she goes out of her way to provide superior service without acting like we’re an inconvenience. One of my first weekends, we came as a group and I brought sober friends. We didn’t expect anything but once she realized half of us only ordered water because they don’t drink, she reviewed her bar and came up with a list of mocktails then offered us any of her soft beverages, completely normalizing it. My favorite food is the tacos even though they keep changing. My husband’s favorite is the dumpling stand, which isn’t always there but the chef is very nice and knowledgeable. This place is fun rain or shine. There are giant games too, making it extra family friendly. Stamford community warmly welcomes local small businesses with friendly humans!”

One of the managers, Joel, noticed this and gave us extra attention to make up for it. He really made the experience great and we will definitely be coming back because of him. “Tried three different apps split between my friends and I, definitely some of the best food I’ve had in a while. The drinks were all amazing and consistent. We also finished off with the creme brûlée cheesecake and I would’ve taken a picture but it was too good for me to wait! So glad this place opened up, the owner was present and attentive to make sure everyone was satisfied and enjoying themselves, the wait staff worked as a cohesive team- really nothing more you can ask out of any restaurant, especially a new one! “This was my first time at any Jersey Mike's and I have a few things to say here. The Staff was really friendly and every single employee there was working as quickly as they can. However, it still took me 30 mins to grab 2 sandwiches. I think it's a situation when something is new and they are still trying to work the kinks out. Usually I would give a much lower rating because of the time I waited but the food was good and the staff were all working really hard. Maybe somethings may eventually change to help expedite things but overall, I was happy. My Philly steak was really good and seasoned well. My wife enjoyed her ham and provolone. I'll be back soon”
