I was pretty impressed with Lou & Mo’s today while checking it out for the 1st time. Got a Roast beef melt and everything about it was delicious. The bread was perfectly buttered and toasted. The quality of the roast beef was great too. My only gripe was my wife’s French Toast grilled cheese. Could’ve used some sauce or an option to add bacon. Otherwise, this place is a must try if you’re near the turnpike.
Wanted to check out a new locally owned and operated sandwich shop. Had a little bit of a wait but was well worth the quality. All items were as advertised and fresh. Looking forward to returning to explore more of the menu. If you enjoy Cubans... be sure to try theirs!!!
You know when you are craving a really good sandwich? And just don’t want to settle for one of the many chain places? Well we stumbled across this place and it was fantastic!! They use fresh ingredients, the crunch of the bread, tons of options including vegetarian options! And on top of that the staff and owner were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this place!
So glad we decided to try this newly opened Sandwich Shoppe, Places that can provide you with a delicious quick meal are few and far between, happy to report Lou & Mo’s is one of those rare gems. Making a great meatball is not an easy thing to do. I’m an older Italian lady who judges all meatballs by my own they need to be well seasoned, tender and just the perfect texture. The meatballs at Lou & Mo’s are perfection, When the owner stopped by the table to see how everything was I asked her if she stole her Mom’s meatball recipe. She laughed said it was indeed her Mom’s recipe and asked me how I knew I told her meatballs that good could only come out of the kitchen of an older Italian lady because they take years to perfect. My 1/2 meatball sub was on a toasted garlic buttered roll with delicious Sunday sauce and house roasted peppers (I opted out of the mozzarella). It was served with a crisp, fresh well dressed coleslaw and hot crispy French fries perfection! My dining companion is a vegan he was happy to see Lou & Mo’s had several options for him. He chose the vegan Cobb salad, Romaine & Kale dressed in olive oil and a red wine vinaigrette, topped with house roasted veggies, avocado, walnuts tomato and red onion. A generous salad, well dressed tasty and beautifully presented he was very happy. Needless to say we are looking forward to returning,
Delicious sandwiches! We loved the pulled pork sandwich, buffalo chicken melt, and turkey club sandwich. They have awesome coffee too. I would stop by just for a coffee if it was on my way to work. (Mocha I had was better than the Starbucks one!) Workers are kind and bathrooms are big and clean with baby changing stations.
