Regular customer. Love the corned beef hash. Friendly staff. But was there this morning. I know Sunday mornings are busy. And I’m one person. I waited patiently for a table put my name in but was line jumped by another customer. When the staff realized the issue after the patron already got settled they asked him to give up his table for me making it a little awkward. I immediately declined and said I can wait for another. It was all good. When I was able to get a table and ready to order a large group came in and was asked to sit at the counter. I would always give a table to anybody with kids. But this was an adult group. I ended up leaving and going to another place. I have ahistory working in small diners and understand and respect the cash flow and the need to satisfy everyone and to make money, but I’m not sure I would ask customers to make room for other customers to fill seats. The staff has always been attentive and very good. I still give it 5 stars. For food,price and atmosphere...( always have good music). But unless I’m with a group I might stay away on weekends mornings after 8 am. I prefer tables.
