Wood-n-Tap - Enfield

Our first test was disappointing. Wings were burned, dry, and I think they forgot to put any sauce on them. The rest of the food was fine. I'm hoping to try the winter menu when available and provide an update! The sliders were a regular burger cut up into pieces ....:(

Went the 2nd weekend after opening and my family and I had a great time. We were expecting a large wait time and arrived around 4:30, but there was no wait and we were able to be seated right away. The Covid restrictions were properly adhered to and tables were set apart appropriately. So no worry there. Our waiter was great and helpful. The Clam chowder is really good and definitely worth getting. The potatoes in it had a creamy texture to them. The Hickory burger is just as good and properly cooked the way I requested. About the only issue was quite often the lights would go full bright then slowly dim The waiter explained that the switch was near where someone could easily hit it and he said they were working to prevent it. Overall a great time and plan to be back to try the ribs.

The food i ordered was better than a past experience at another location. I ordered the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. Chicken tenders were large and actually tender not dried out and the fries were almost perfect. Price was fair at 12 dollars for what you get. Dinged one star because I ordered for pickup online. They allow you to put special instructions but like most restaurants they don't read them. I didn't want or need the BBQ sauce or whatever the other sauce was that they included but asked if they could include ketchup. Didn't get ketchup and one of the other unneeded sauce containers was popped open with some of that sauce in the bottom of the bag. I picked this up as lunch and work right next to the location so I was only walking a short distance back to my store.

Not a huge deal but attention to detail was the last thing for me to judge. Overall go but will check my orders at the location in the future.
