Well worth the visit. Wow, hidden GEM. Limited menu with good options of superb food. Decent beer menu and exceptional original drink offerings.
Nothing much else to say other than AMAZING. Best pork belly we’ve ever had. And small plates is never a bad thing, it means you can try/eat more!
This place was the closest dining option to my hotel and I’m really glad I found it. I’ve had dinner here two nights in a row and the food here is seriously outstanding. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
Try the wings or the burger. Both were in my top 10 that I’ve ever had.
The service I had at the bar was great both nights as well.
Will return to Farmington just to visit this spot.
Awesome bartender the night I was there back in October for an after wedding get together. The pumpkin ale he recommended was great, thank you! Cozy atmosphere. I would definitely come back during the summer to hang outside.
This is one instance where I really wish I could give half stars, but because I can't I'll round down and give 3. Pros: The ambiance and decor are perfect. It's small and cute and perfect for date night or happy hour drinks with friends. Drinks are tasty, and they have a decent beer menu. Cons:Based on other reviews, it seems like the menu changes or has changed indefinitely. There are some options that sound great, but everything I ordered fell kinda flat. The pan seared salmon was average at best and lacked flavor. The marinated olives were decent, but they didn't stand out or make an impression. I left still hungry and craving more. Service started out great and tapered off as the evening progressed. I was a solo diner, and the waitress was very attentive when I first arrived but as the restaurant began to fill up she seemed to forget about me. I'm not in Connecticut often, but I don't see myself dining here again if I return.
