(January 23, 2020, 2:12 am)I had the pleasure of being the photographer at a wedding here last fall and the service and attentiveness of the staff was exceptional, at least from my perspective. Beautiful grounds with lots of great photo ops at the ready. I hope to come back soon!

(August 17, 2019, 12:53 pm)Tunxis Country Club is definitely one of the best public courses in Connecticut. Since they have 45 holes (two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole course), it easy to book a tee time or just walk up and play.
The pro shop staff is very kind and helpful, and their prices are very reasonable; definitely take advantage of the after 1:00 rate on the weekends or their twilight rates during the week. Also, it is nice that they give discounts to seniors and juniors. The course has always been in great shape; their landscaping is beautiful and all greens are well maintained. The tavern is definitely worth checking out after you play, as the food was so delicious and they have a wide variety of different menu items.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone. -
