Edit: I have since been refunded, so upgrading my review. Of what we’ve eaten here, it has been delicious, but that doesn’t change the negatives of the overall experience.

I hate to do this, but on 5/19/23 our takeout order was wrong, the bases of the bowls were correct, but the toppings were reversed. For dietary reasons, the mixup didn't allow us to consume our bowls. I called as soon as I found out to troubleshoot, and nobody answered so I left a voicemail. I called back later, spoke to someone, and was told I was issued a refund, which is all I could ask for. However, I still haven't received the refund as of 5/25, and I've called on 5/24 and 5/25, with no answer and 1 voicemail left.

This is only my second time to this location, the first time I placed an online order, nobody was aware that an order had come through, even though I walked into a completely empty restaurant and the 2 staff members sitting at a table.

Nobody has been rude or anything, I just haven't had a good experience in 2 visits. I just want a resolution and for someone to communicate with me, and I shouldn't need to post a review to feel like I'm making progress.

We’ve visited this place and just enjoyed everything we bought.

Ingredients fresh, counter clean, and Richard has the best smile ever.

It isn’t cheap to eat here compared to other places around. They had a Tuesday special which isn’t there anymore.

Super fresh fish! Richard is so friendly and helpful. Didn’t feel hurried moving down the line picking my choices . It’s kinda pricey. Wish the prices are more affordable- we would plan to come more if so. Get the app ahead and save $.

As compared to Poke Don, right across the street...
Same bowl cost $3 less ar Poke Done.
The sushi pieces are good cuts at both.
The crab tastes terrible at Pokeworks... Texture of play dough ):
They charge for avocado at Pokeworks.
Nice option for spicy salmon at Pokeworks.
Toppings taste the same.
Sauces are better at Poke Don.
PokeDon has bubble tea and sushi burrito as its differentiator; Pokeworks has sushi spam and some made rolls.
Atmosphere and clientele - nice people at both. Poke Don wears masks and gloves.

Overall, I prefer Poke Don. Better value, cleaner.

I love Pokeworks in Glastonbury, CT!

The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining all the different options to add to the bowl- we get the bowl and make our own personalized poke bowl. My husband loves all the spicy additions! I love some spice but, not as much as him.

The food is very fresh (we get tuna) and delicious! we are from out West and it is as fresh as we have had in Hawaii!

We get 2 proteins in a bowl and find it very reasonable coming UNDER $20! the bowl is generously packed with all that we choose!

We have been there weekly since it opened! Highly recommend Glastonbury Pokeworks!
