Our first time at this restaurant. Overall I’d say it was good. Good atmosphere both for family and after work hangouts.
Good selection of local beers.
Our server was great as well. They have good vegan options on the menu as well.
Food was delicious. I particularly like wood fire pizzas and theirs did not disappoint at all. The baked rigatoni was also good. As pointed out in other reviews, the portions are in fact smaller for the price, but it worked out well for us because neither me nor my wife are a huge fan of king size dinners and we usually do not prefer to take left overs to go (unless we have to). I’d give them a 4 only because of the price point being relatively on the higher side in relation to the size of their plates.
We will come back here though, since it super close to home and we liked the food.
Pretty good coal fired pizza. The crust is great, so long as it doesn't get too dark. The service was very friendly, and put up with our group is 10 including 6 kids. Good night out with friends.
Excellent! Service was fast and the pizza was unlike any other pizza I have tried and I am married to an Italian! The crust almost melted in your mouth and the ingredients were super fresh. I highly recommend the prosciutto pizza and the hot veggie. Can’t wait to go back again. Pizzas are smaller but I liked that because it gave me the opportunity to try a few different ones. So so good!
Last night was our first time at Square Peg and it really exceeded our expectations! The pizza was unlike anything we had ever had before. The crust was very thin yet airy and not burnt at all. The sauce and cheese were light but incredibly flavorful. The toppings were unique and delicious. My husband and I have been to Italy and the proscuitto & arugula pizza brought our senses right back to Florence!
The pizzas are fairly small so we ordered 4 of them and split them between the 2 us and our 2 friends. We each got to try something totally different and it made the experience even better. We couldn't decide on a favorite because they were all so good.
The service was impeccable and we could tell that everyone (chef, manager, wait staff) genuinely cared about our experience. Laura was a fantastic waitress and Cory (manager) came and spoke to us several times and was super friendly.
Highly recommend this place! We will be back for sure.
