    The best yams and mac....the whiting and chicken wings are great too

    Great tasting southern style meal. A small meal will fill you up for a reasonable price. Most southern style restaurant are overpriced. Dont judge this place for its location or its appearance. Food is flavorful and affordable. If ever in hartford stop by Hot Pots, definitely will enjoy the food.

    Macaroni and cheese isn't as good, to many eggs or not blended well, eggs made it light and fluffy and bland. The macaroni and cheese was a favorite, especially for me. But every other item I ordered was fantastic. Still a 5-star.

    The service was excellent and so is the food and the prices are good got to go early to get the banana pudding though lol
