Great nashville hot chicken... Regular southern fried is great too!

Had to try their Nashville style chicken after a great article in the Hartford Courant and we were not disappointed! My husband has been complaining about bland New England food since his move here and didn’t worry about “What the Cluck” being too spicy - I laughed as I watched the sweat build as he ate. The mild and medium were perfect for the rest of us - great flavor that didn’t just burn. Mac and cheese was creamy and moist. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to love this place. My Coworkers and I have gone here 4 times in the last couple of months. The results have been mixed.. It is HOT chicken, which is good as that's what they are marketing. It unfortunately is very greasy chicken. Each time the cardboard box that they serve the chicken in has a large pool of oil in the bottom. No ordering problems the first 2 times, but the last 2 times have been disappointing. I ordered the 7 piece strips the 2 times, one time, I received 5, yesterday, I received 6, so that's unfortunate. Also yesterday along with only receiving 6 instead of 7 tenders, I also only received 1 of 2 sides, and no bread. A co-worker was also shorted a side, and since he was picking up, he was able to bring that to their attention, and received an attitude as if he was lying, and then received only a half portion of cole slaw. This was after having to wait for 45 minutes for the food to be ready, despite it not being busy. Anyway, I want to love it, I just can't. We will be opting for other options in the future @ Parkville Market.

Best chicken sandwich in central CT, and it’s not even close.

This is my first time trying FowlPlay. The food was excellent! I ended up having the chicken tenders with french fries I asked for the what the cluck sauce . I must say this is not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed the flavor but I could not complete my meal. I can’t say I was not forewarned but I had to try it. I would definitely go back to FowlPlay??????
