Mikes Munchies & empanadas

The food was tasty and quick turnaround. It smelled so good we almost ate them in the car. There are a couple of small tables there for dining, as well, but it’s really more of a takeout joint. The empanadas were still hot when we got home and so good! The bang bang sauce was awesome, as well. I enjoyed both the sweet and savory versions. There was a really generous amount of filling in each one. Will definitely be coming back again!

BEST empanadas I've ever had!!!! They're big too! I got 2 beef empanadas and told myself I'd eat 1 and save one for later but it was so good that I ate both right then and there 🤣 I had it with the bom bom sauce. SOOOO good!!!! The guy there was really nice and asked me how everything was and I let him know that it was delicious and I'd be back!

I'd been planning on stopping by for weeks, and finally made the time. And it was worth it! The food was super fast, light, crispy, and delicious. I got to chat a little with Mike who's a real smart and put-together dude with a dream and a lot of motivation to make it happen. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. The restaurant is clean with a lightly rustic southwest style and pops of color. The menu has simple staples and a rotating selection of savory and sweet empanadas where he can showcase flavor combinations beyond the usual chicken and beef. The lunch deal was the perfect amount of food, leaving me satisfied but not loggy. I'll definitely be returning - I HAVE to try the dessert empanadas!

I come from a family that cooks amazing Puerto Rican food and empanadas is one thing we enjoy to make and eat!
I tried the beef and cheese without any dip because I like to taste the actual food & dips change the experience. In all honesty they were just okay if you’re hungry and need a quick bite to fill you then go ahead and try them but don’t expect to be blown away even though most of these reviews say it’s the best they’ve tried but not for me. I will say they are full of meat and they are big in size compared to other businesses. The meat needs a little more flavor! And they are a bit unorganized they were sold out of a few items, they have been open for a few weeks already, keeping things in stock keeps customers coming back!

These are amazing empanadas. We had the beef & cheese and chicken & cheese ones and both were just excellent. So flavorful with super thin pastry. And the boom boom sauce was a win too! Great service and great value as well. Check this place out and support them so they stick around!
