Thomas Smokey Pit Stop

Excellent food and nice sized portions. Ordered the one side plater with an extra side and had left overs for the next day. Sauce is sweet but hits with a good tang...reminds me of when I lived down south. Worth checking out...will become one of your top places to eat in Manchester!!

I've spent some time in the south and I love my bbq. Thomas Smokey Pit is one of the best I've had in a long time. I had the 3 meat platter, with ribs, sliced brisket pulled pork and the collard greens for my side. The meal was huge. All the meats were cooked perfectly and pulled just right. The flavor were excellent, although some of the bites I had were just a bit overpowering with the smoke. Their sauce is really good. I wished I had a little more of it in my take out order. The greens were just right. The coleslaw is the clear dressing type. It was good, just not the style coleslaw I like. I'll definitely be back to try some more.

I love cornbread but most BBQ places have dry cornbread, this was not the case here! Super delicious. The brisket was amazingly tender and not overly fatty. The beans too are out of this world! Everything we had wad amazing! So happy to have found it!

My roommate and I tried Thomas' Smokey Pit Stop yesterday and are already talking about when we'll go back. I had a pulled pork "pit-bomb"--pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese, coleslaw (got it on the side), bacon, and bbq sauce--and she had the chopped brisket grilled cheese. We both agreed the food was AMAZING. The meat was tender and flavorful, the mac n cheese was delicious, and the bbq sauce was fantastic. I plan to try the pulled chicken next time and she's going to try the ribs. Can't wait!

I have been going to Thomas' Smokey Pit Stop before they had opened a restaurant and it has only gotten better. The slow smoked brisket or classic Mac n Cheese with a side of coleslaw and their Pit sauce will have you in heaven. Jerk wings always go great with a Pit Bomb sandwich and Sweet Tea. Authentic BBQ from a Certified PitMaster with excellent Service! Mr. Thomas and his Wife make you feel right at home!
