The Farm at Carter Hill

This is a great place for a casual lunch or a fun place to bring the kids. The goats are really cute, and they have some great community events. Highly recommend.

Hazel & Mitch are two of the kindest people I have ever met. We held a Celebration of Life event for my father at their venue on Saturday, 8/28. Our original venue had to be cancelled on Wednesday 8/25. When I called them to see if they could host us, I expected the answer to be no. Instead, Hazel quickly jumped into action and found a way to cater our event even though she had a wedding the same day. She almost completely recreated the same meal that we had chosen at the other restaurant. For the next 60 hours, they took endless phone calls from us, let us visit the spot a million times and helped us set up the event exactly how we wanted it. I lost my dad in November and we have been waiting 9 months to honor him, it is only because of these wonderful people that we were able to do it.

As for the venue, it was perfect. The lights, chandelier and rustic charm of the barn were lovely. The audio visual was just great and the food was delicious and served piping hot. They also could have easily overcharged us as we were desperate, but the prices were incredibly fair. I would recommend this lovely venue to absolutely anyone.

Went here to see a comedy show and very much enjoyed the spacious outdoor venue. Loved the goats and peacocks! Food from the grill met expectations and they have a nice selection of reasonable priced beers on tap and other drinks. This place has lots of space to host indoor / outdoor events including weddings. Will definitely come back and next time try the ice cream!

It's was a nice change of scenery. Quite and relaxing.

This was our first time visiting and we quickly became big fans of this gem. The venue is a wonderfully delightful place for all events. We went for the Brad Williams comedy show and had a magnificent time. The parking was close and only a short walk on an almost flat surface with just a little incline going towards the goat enclosure. They had 3 goats wondering the property eating fallen apples and they were very friendly. Also, the ducks were enjoying themselves in the puddles created from the rain the night before. I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of the location of all the buildings. It was easy to get drinks in the convenience store on the property. They were cold and the lady serving the drinks was patient while we decided and friendly. The food smelled fantastic! Everyone was walking around with burgers, hot dogs and the best looking steak and cheese sandwiches!! Their fries also looked awesome. Everyone said they were crispy not greasy. We are eating there next time for sure. Every place you look is something unique that catches your eye. It starts with the bright blue navy plane in front of the house and parking area and continues to the old gas pumps at the front of the driveway. The old piano outside across from the barn entrance and every unique sign place all over the walls of every building add a very special touch to your experience here. It is very clean, well organized, and has something for everyone. I wish the ice cream shop was opened during the performance it would have been the perfect end to a perfect evening. Yes, they even have an ice cream shop right there! This is such a great venue. Terrific job to everyone involved. Any comedians and performers would be blessed with how great the crowds are and how you made this a destination that is a must visit for all your events.
