My Wife Didn't Cook

Everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is comfortable, clean, and friendly. I had whiting, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. I had to beg for a bite of the cornbread and macaroni and cheese, because my grandson ate most of it. It's more like he devoured it! I highly recommend, "My Wife Didn't Cook." I will be a returning customer.

I would’ve given them five stars, but the young lady at the front was very rude and unprofessional. The music was so loud that I could barely hear myself talk.
Second part was I didn’t receive my potato salad until I left. When I asked for it, the rude lady looked at me like I two heads, and then she said I’ll bring it to you. Guess what? She never did. My aunt also didn’t get her cornbread so she went back up to ask for it. Then the young lady said to my aunt it’s in the oven. So my aunt said ok. Minutes went by and my aunt went back up to ask for it and then she went to the back and gave it to her but she gave it to her in a rude manner.

Food is great and the owners are really nice but their customer service needs some help. They don’t greet you when you walk in - which makes me as a customer feel uninvited. A simple “hey how are you today” as I walk in would change my whole experience here. The young girl at the register didn’t ask me how I was doing or even a simple “how may I help you today “ the vibe I got was more of a “go ahead and order”. Also the phone was busy I couldn’t get through but when I walked in it was very slow and the phone was sitting by the register. Love the food but it would make my experience even better if the crew was friendlier and made me feel welcome.
