Very nice small batch full fat ice cream with all sorts of mixed up flavors with New Britain references.

Frisbees is on the original site of the New Britain Guida's Dairy Store with it's red leather and chrome interior. Some of us still wish that the original building (which was in incredibly good shape) would have been restored, instead of being torn down and replaced.

Frisbees is locally themed, complete with Avery's sodas. It's pricey, but it's a worthy splurge.

I can't believe how busy this place got. As a New Britain resident I'm very pleased to see a local business keeping busy and staying afloat.
The coffee ice cream is better than most other coffee ice creams. The cherry vanilla actually has pieces of cherries in it!
They have a snack food side now. I haven't tried it yet but I look forward to it.

Frisbie's serves delicious premium ice cream. They cleverly name each flavor with local landmarks. They also make cakes and gourmet ice cream sandwiches. It is a comfortable place to eat either inside or out on the front porch in Adirondack chairs.

This year they have added a separate restaurant that serves soups, sandwiches and salads.

    Give Frisbie's a try!

best soft serve ice cream anywhere......when they turn on their soft serve machine....or its not broken....only ice cream shop that for some reason doesn't keep their soft serve up and running. UPDATE: They have now expanded to salads, beginning of the end, their portions have gotten smaller on the ice cream, another new manager, inconsistent staff. But the ice cream is still good. They went to a cheaper soft serve mix, taste is average, but at least its on more often.
