Belvedere Cafe and Restaurant

I got gulampies it was good but sauce was heavy . Mom in law got mushroom crepes they were huge.

The atmosphere was good and the bartender nice, but I can't figure out why he so highly recommended the Hungarian goulash on a potato pancake. The pancake was seriously overcooked, which was painfully obvious on sight. I dug into it anyway thinking maybe it would be better than it looked, but no. The goulash was not very flavorful and the meat was dry. I picked out a bit in the center but otherwise left it pretty untouched. I ended up ordering from the 3 course fixed price dinner, and thought the accompanying pierogi and apple cake were just ok. Better than the pancake, edible at least.

As far as food and the staff being polite, courteous and professional I give it an A+. I don't really eat polish food but this place was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful and the owner seems like a really great guy (and his wife). I recommend it!!

Fantastic authentic Polish food. I bring relatives here and guests from out of town frequently. Wonderful service and consistently fantastic food. I can't even say which dish is my favorite because I love them all. Kudos to the chef!

The best of the best on Broad Street. Great Polish food with reasonable prices. Beautifully decorated restaurant. Impeccable service. They are always willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. I highly recommend this place to everyone we know. They are very willing to explain each dish to those unfamiliar with Polish cuisine.
