“I think that for being somewhere I can walk into and grab some seafood close by this place is awesome. However I paid roughly $10 for a grilled cheese sandwich with cajun shrimp on it and while it was perfectly seasoned I expected more. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu maybe I'll have better luck.”

“The food was delicious. I had the whole belly clams platter. The batter was so light and golden. The fries were great and I wouldn’t usually talk about fries except these were so good. Some items are a German flare so the coleslaw isn’t made with mayo and the tater sauce has some extra ingredients but it was really good. The Table behind me had the Lobster roll and that will be my next must . A little pricey but it was HUGE as far as lobster rolls go.”

“Best buffalo chicken grinder you can find in any close vicinity. Even when delivered and you’d expect it to be a little cool and maybe soggy, it never is. Always fulfilling and tastes great. Also one of the only places I’ve found you can choose the size that you want and it’s made with the right amount of everything based on the size you order. Highly recommend calling them for delivery versus using an app (UberEats or GrubHub) because it will cost you significantly less (approx $4-6) and they don’t fuss about delivering in NB for a $13 order. Additionally, open late, which is always great if you’re up late studying or doing anything. Have yet to be disappointed.”

Not sure how to explain but it was very soft and reminded me of the dough from my middle school cafeteria pizza lunches BUT with much better toppings. “Roma is nothing crazy, just a chill neighbourhood bar (very little emphasis on the restaurant section, most of their business is from the bar). It's not far from the local university, but most students don't know about Roma. They offer a moderate and favourable selection of local and domestic beers all at great prices. There's room for an outdoor patio, pool tables, and plenty of sports entertainment. Sports lovers will enjoy their experience, but you don't have to be a die-hard Patriots fan to enjoy your experience here. The staff is small, but they do their jobs well and with efficiency. They'll be happy to make you a drink at your request or even to offer a recommendation. My only major complaint is that they offer no viable vegan or gluten-free options for food. I am never able to purchase anything here because of the lack of a substantial vegan meal and would really look forward to a delicious plant-based burger, stew, chili, or sandwich. Other than that, it's an excellent location for socialising with locals and getting some casual drinks. If you've recently moved to New Britain, I highly recommend it.”
