Salsas 4 Taqueria

I ordered a chorizo taco and one of their premium baha fish tacos. The tacos came packed with meat and fish. With the crunchy fried white fish and the sauce (such a great sauce but I have no idea what it was), the baha taco is definitely something that I’d get again.

After having the 2 tacos, I tried the carne asada empanada. Just look at the picture. They load up the already stuffed, crunchy, gluten free corn empanadas with all kinds of toppings. It is so nice that there is a place like this in CT. It was so good that I forgot about the salsa bar. Next time...

One odd thing was that both soft corn tacos came with only 1 tortilla each. In the photos online, and generally at most Mexican places, there are 2 tortillas per taco. Only noticed because they felt a little thing without that extra tortilla.

We had the Guelaguetza Tlayudas ("Our Oaxacan Version Version of a Quesadilla with Homemade Corn Tortilla, Refried Beans, Oaxaca Cheese, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Avocados & Pickled Jalapenos"). It was a true departure from a typical Quessdilla. A delicious juicy departure that should definitely be sampled. Sample the salsa bar as well. We will definitely be back and trying those tacos.

Lived in Long Beach CA for 7 years, this is just like the great Mexican food we’d get just north of the border in CA. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Run here, don’t walk, you won’t be disappointed.

I am soooo excited to have this restaurant in the plaza that I frequent!!! Now I can do my banking, get my haircut AND treat myself to a great meal!!!!!
