Jamaican Kitchen

This restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly. They gave us a call to let us know they were out of goat but offered to replace it (we got pepper steak - YUM!). I was very impressed when we walked in! It's a small spot and extremely clean and well kept. The meat was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The plantains were also delicious and I would recommend that anyone adds them to at least one of their dishes. The portions were a good size we drove about 25 minutes home and the food stayed hot the whole way. A great experience overall.

Great oxtail! Well prepared and tasty. I enjoyed the rice. The reason for one star, I wished the cabbage was cut smaller and not huge head chunks pieces that are not chewable. Otherwise great customer service and good menu. Definitely returning soon!

My go to spot for Jamaican food. I come here at least once a week. Family owned black owned restaurant. They definitely have my support! Always good vibes and great conversation. Not to mention the music that takes me back to when times were simpler. I highly recommend this place for some authentic Jamaican food and genuine service.

I have been looking for a good, clean Jamaican restaurant that is closer to home, because I normally drive over 20 minutes to Hartford for Jamaican food. I’m very thankful that this restaurant is here and the food is good! I’ve purchased their Curry Goat, Jerk Pork, Stew Chicken and the wings - which are all wonderful selections! They make their own Lemonade, Mango Punch and Sorrel too! I’ve been going here every week for the past month because I love Jamaican food and love supporting a good business. Thank you for bringing a taste of Jamaican closer to home for me.

Tried Jamaican Kitchen for the first time tonight and it was amazing!! We ordered the veggie patty, beef patty, chicken stew, and jerk chicken. Everything had amazing flavor and was delicious. The portions were large, great value. Highly recommend!!
