Subway

Subways prices have risen over the last couple years to the point where lunch is now like $12. It's a sandwich that even at grocery store retail I could make for $2-$3, their operating profit on a sandwich must be like 75%. Eventually this will catch up to them and sales will start to slide. The question is will they make the mistake of "blockbuster" or "Sears" and raise prices to meet top line sales goals or lower prices to grow the business. Because if they chose the former they will go the way of the dinosaurs. Of course some of this is not their fault as our inept government officials continue to ignore basic economic priciples and think they can legislate us into prosperity by raising the minimum wage to whatever miracle # they decide this week. Cronyism, greed and bad politics will destroy everything in it's path.

FOOD-WISE, i really like Subway but it IS a little expensive for me.
