This was my second time visiting Fire on the Mountain! Both times our large group of 8+ received exceptional service! Being in the retail industry myself I know how difficult a large group walking in can sometimes be but both time have sat us quickly, got our drinks going right away and were beyond patient when we were waiting for the final few to order. Besides amazing, friendly and kind staff. The place is spotless and bright, very welcoming! Now the food, the best part! The food is phenomenal, so many of their items are made from scratch or their housemaid smoked meats. I personally have has the country benny (cornbread waffle was 1000/10!) and the Suffield omelet. I am a big omelets girl and this was perfect! was not skimpy on fillings but still fluffy and delicious. Definitely stop in!

From the very moment you step foot into Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse, you're enveloped by a tantalizing symphony of sizzling sounds, invigorating smoky aromas, and a warm, cozy ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. Nestled in the heart of Suffield Commons, this gastronomic gem serves breakfast with a delicious twist, all day long, amplified by the profound magic of smoked meats.

Access to this culinary haven is a breeze, with ample parking at the back and five ultra-convenient To-Go parking spots right at the entrance. The outdoor patio exudes a relaxed, rustic charm, complete with a cozy fireplace in the dining room that beckons you to unwind in its comforting glow.

I was delighted with a trio of dishes that are nothing short of breakfast reinvented: Smoked Meats and Breakfast Treats, Country Benedict, and Mountain Hash. And let's not forget an indulgent sweet treat that elevated the experience even further.

First came the PC Bacon Strips. Picture thick-cut smoked bacon, enrobed in fluffy, golden pancake batter, served with velvety butter and luscious syrup. Each bite was an enchanting medley of salty, sweet, and smoky notes, creating an irresistible harmony of flavors that danced on the tongue.

Next, the Country Benedict was a sight to behold. Two robust smoked sausage patties held court on a pedestal of grilled cornbread, crowned by poached eggs and smothered in a rich, savory chipped brisket gravy. Each mouthful was an explosion of bold, hearty flavors, all backed by the comforting, homely side of homefries.

Then there was the Mountain Hash. This masterpiece featured a bed of applewood smoked brisket hash, blanketed in perfectly cooked eggs, served alongside a duo of protein choices, toast, and that heavenly chipped brisket gravy. It was a stunning tribute to the power of smoked meats and the comforting allure of a traditional breakfast.

Finally, the pièce de résistance: the Blueberry Cheesecake Waffle. Crafted in a classic Belgian style, this sweet masterpiece was the perfect finish to an unforgettable dining experience. Light, fluffy, and generously punctuated with juicy blueberries and creamy cheesecake bits, every bite was pure ecstasy.

The menu does not end here. There are more offerings waiting to be savored, from the cheesy delight of Breakfast Quesadillas, to an array of omelets designed to satisfy every palate, to beverages both hot and cold to perfectly complement your meal.

In essence, a visit to Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse is not just a meal, it's an experience. It's a place where smoked meats meet breakfast classics in an exquisite culinary ballet that's sure to make your taste buds leap with joy. So if you find yourself in Suffield, don't miss the chance to embark on this delicious journey. The Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse is waiting to welcome you with open arms and a table laden with delights. And remember, don't forget to try their Smoke & Fire sauce!

It’s hard to find a place that makes breakfast food with love but this place manages to do that with ease. My wife and I had a great breakfast and even ordered something to take home for later knowing it would be amazing. Even being short staffed with only one waitress taking care of everyone, the service was great! One of the best details is the sugar and cream for the coffee. No little cream cups to open, they give you a cute little personal cream server and the sugar is the continuous pour kind which my wife who loves sweet coffee appreciated. Would love to see them expand for lunch in the future.

Had an amazing experience at Fire on the Mountain Smokehouse with one of my friends. I ordered the cornbread waffle eggs benedict with a homemade sausage patty and smoked brisket gravy, a fresh fruit cup, a coffee and an orange juice. The home fries were amazing and they even make their own hot sauce. I loved it so much I brought a bigger group of friends the next time and the second visit was even better!!

The food is excellent! Some of the best homemade sausage I’ve ever had and the home fries are to die for. The service was fantastic as well, very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back again!
