We went to a wedding at this facility in the lovely Elizabeth Park of West Hartford and it was fabulous. Staff is efficient and well organized, changing the venue from wedding to cocktail hour to dinner seemingly effortlessly. Food was hot and very tasty, which is amazing at a large event. Staff made sure we had everything we needed. Downsides: your event will share parking with all the other Park goers and drink glasses quickly disappeared off the table, whether you we're finished or not. Highly recommend this beautiful peaceful location.

The pond house cafe is beautiful! The banquet room is beyond beautiful, the dinning room is lovely, and the patio is an amazing place to sit and eat. Beside all wonderful esthetics the menu is well developed, I had an amazing burger, cooked to perfection and the fries are hands down the best I've ever had in my life.

Didn't eat there, it was closing but it was gorgeous, the staff was super nice even though they were closing. Looks like a great place to have an event. Beautiful setting in the oldest rose garden in the country.

Attended a wedding here recently and the eye for detail was stunning! It was very well decorated and had a very rustic aesthetic, perfect for a wedding. The weather was nice enough to have the ceremony outdoors, and it was a beautiful setting over the lake. The food wasn't my favorite personally, but on par for a wedding buffet. The appetizers were excellent. Overall, I would recommend to someone looking to have a wedding in this area!

Photographed a brunch wedding here last summer, and it was a wonderful experience. The couple had all their guests walk through the park with them to the ceremony, and then just gather around informally. Nice and intimate! There were other park goers around, but no one was ever intrusive.
The groom and some of the guests were vegan (and hey, so am I!) and the chef at Pond House was more than accommodating to my couple in providing an entire separate vegan breakfast bar. Yummmm!
