Chopt Creative Salad Co.

Such a needed addition to the West Hartford food scene. My husband and I have already tried about 8 different salads. 🤣 Everything has been super fresh and flavorful. The dressings are really creative and taste amazing. Portions are large for me. I’m used to Sweetgreen from other places I’ve lived and Chopt is filling that void for me. Hoping they spread far and wide. Looking forward to all the creative seasonal offerings. One note, I’d love to be able to review ingredients in the dressings. I’m picky about the oils I consume for health reasons. Appreciate the partnership with Enzo and offering of olive oil. The lemon olive oil is divine.

Went here this weekend to try it out. Always looking for a good salad place. People were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this place got our order wrong (acceptable because it's new) but there is a serious lack of drink options. It's either purchase a can of soda or water or get some of their light lemonade and iced tea. Would love it more if they would have those multipurpose Coke machines. Salads were good but not as big as I hoped considering the price. Would be a good place for a lunch

Ok so I ordered the bacon ranch salad. I removed some ingredients. The ingredients I kept was just the romaine obviously the crispy chicken tomatoes and pickled onions. The chicken was very bland the salad was loaded with lettuce and not much of everything else

I also ordered a Caesar wrap same thing very bland. Everything was bland. Maybe they don’t use salt because this is a healthy place.

The plus side is the have a dressing called Mexican goodness and that it is. That dressing helped the blandness of the salad and the wrap. I don’t know exact ingredients but it’s giving avocado, cilantro, garlic and some spice highly recommend it.

All in all I will order/visit this place again all wasn’t bad

Chopt just opened today (4/20) in west hartford! I have been to the one in Glastonbury and was excited that they opened a location close to me. Ordered before the lunch rush, service was good. Salads were fresh, I have high hopes for this location. Recommend giving it a try!
